President - Alexis Bell

Best know in the Georgia community as "Miss Bell", Alexis was a grade school teacher at Georgia Elementary and Middle School for 45 years before retiring in 2020. She's been involved with the JMMY Center since its inception.
Treasurer - Donald Wells

Don is a retired CPA who practiced locally for over 40 years helping individuals and businesses with taxes as well as financial and strategic planning. He taught accounting and finance courses at Champlain and Community Colleges. He's been married for 44 years and enjoys reading, photography and a variety of outdoor activities. He's been involved with the JMMY Center's operations since 2014.
Board Member - Tyler Smith

Tyler is a native Vermonter from Middlebury. He began to sense a call to ministry in college while serving in the St. Lawrence University chapter of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Tyler attended Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield Illinois to earn a Masters of Divinity, intending to pursue cross-cultural ministry or international missions. To his surprise, the Lord led him back to the mission field of Vermont, where he was called to serve as the pastor of Georgia Plain Baptist Church in 2015. He was ordained in the American Baptist Church in 2017.
Tyler has been married to his wife Meg since 2009, and together they are parents of four wonderful kids. When not pastoring or parenting, Tyler enjoys playing and writing music, reading books, drinking coffee, building things, and being outside.
Board Member - Frank Gore

An ex-pat Canadian, Frank moved to Georgia in 2013 with his wife, Tiffany. Their daughter, Sophia, was born shortly after. Frank is a stay-at-home dad, photographer, IT technician and community organizer. He's been running the local playgroup, for kids aged 0 to 6, since 2017. He's been involved with the GEMS PTCO since 2017, and took over as president of that organization in 2020. In his free time, he enjoys fabricating things and wrenching on cars.
